About me and my practice

Throughout that time, I've worked with people of different ages, strengths and experiences, including both neurotypical and neurodivergent individuals.

What Ive been struck by is how people make real progress when the right support is in place, support that places their uniqueness at the centre rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Again and again, I see the difference it makes when people are given a space where they feel genuinely listened to, understood and accepted.

While my academic background is in the social sciences, it has always been the social that drives my passion. I've long been interested in how people survive and thrive through the most difficult of circumstances, and how relationships help shape who we become.

This belief remains at the heart of my work today: healing and growth happen through relationships. While my approach is informed by a range of therapeutic models, the relationship we build together remains central to the work.

As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of each child, young person, adult or parent I work with.

My practice is rooted in person-centred, attachment-based and psychodynamic thinking, while remaining flexible enough to adapt to the individual in front of me. Whatever form the work takes, the therapeutic relationship remains at the heart of the process.

Experience

I have been working in schools for over five years working with a range of children from 5 to 15. I also work for a charity in their long-term, low-cost service, based in North London. I have also worked with adults for personal therapy as well as reflective parenting.

Initial Consultation

I usually start with a free 20-minute phone call to talk through what's been happening, answer any questions and see whether we are a good fit. If we decide to move forward, we meet in person to explore background, current challenges and what support may be most helpful. For children, this consultation takes place without your child present. For young people, it may involve the young person, the parent/carer, or both, depending on what has been agreed in advance. This is usually 90 minutes. For adults, we would normally have an initial 50 minute session to explore more about your background and what has brought you to therapy.

Fees

Online rates vary depending on whether adult personal therapy, adolescent personal therapy or reflective parenting, but will range from £90 to £120.
